Let's keep breaking barriers, spreading kindness, and making inclusion the norm -not the exception.

🌟 Did you know we have eight senses—not just five?

Most people are familiar with the basic five:

👁️ Visual (sight)

👂🏼 Auditory (hearing)

👃🏽 Olfactory (smell & scents)

👅 Gustatory (taste & flavour)

✋🏽Tactile (touch)

But we also rely on three hidden senses to navigate the world:

🧠 Proprioception (body awareness)

🌀 Vestibular (balance & movement)

⚡ Interoception (internal body signals like hunger, thirst, or emotions)

These eight senses work together through a process called sensory processing—and for some children, especially those with sensory processing challenges, this system doesn’t always work smoothly.

💡 Two key parts of sensory processing:

🔹 Reception – how the body receives sensory input.

🔹 Integration – how the brain organizes and interprets that input.
